7 Creative Ways to Personalize Your Live Wedding Painting
Why the Most Popular Choice for a Live Wedding Painting is a Couple-Centered Composition.

Invoice and Deposit
Once we've agreed on the details of your live wedding painting, I'll send you an invoice outlining everything we've discussed, including the date, time, and location of your wedding, as well as the size and style of the painting. Shipping is included in each package. You'll need to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This deposit is typically 50% of the total cost of the painting, with the remaining balance due on or before the day of your wedding.
The final payment is due the day of the wedding, the remaining balance is on the same first invoice I sent for the deposit.

Travel fees (if needed)
After securing your wedding date with a deposit, I'll arrange travel if your wedding is outside of Maui. I'll book flights, car rentals, and lodging on other islands or states. These travel expenses will be invoiced separately and need to be paid promptly. I keep costs reasonable without sacrificing quality. Capturing the essence of your special day is priceless. Contact me with questions or concerns. My goal is to make the booking process smooth and stress-free, ensuring your satisfaction.

On-Site Painting
On the day of your wedding, I'll arrive at the venue early to set up my easel and canvas in a spot that's both convenient for me and visible to your guests. I'll start painting hours before the ceremony begins to capture the location and arrangements, during the ceremony I will be working quickly to capture the key moments of your wedding day as they happen. Once the ceremony is over, I'll continue to work on your painting during the reception, adding details and making any necessary adjustments to ensure that it perfectly captures the essence of your special day. By the end of the reception, your painting will be virtually complete, and I'll carefully pack it up and take it with me.
Finishing Touches and Delivery
After your wedding I will continue to work on your painting at my studio, adding the finishing touches, enhancing colors, and improving every detail. After the varnish is dry, your painting will be carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition, ready to be displayed and cherished for years to come.
Booking a live wedding painting is a unique and memorable way to commemorate your special day, and with my simple and stress-free booking process, it's easier than ever to make it happen. How I work
I want you to have a piece of art you love...
Before the wedding day, we schedule a phone consultation, so I can learn your love story, help with creative decisions, and get other details like location and times. We will go over details of your preferences, and I will help you make creative decisions on who and what to incorporate.
You have the choice of having a reception or ceremony painted.

Usually, on the wedding day, if I paint the ceremony, I will arrive 1-2 hours before to paint the location before the guests arrive. During the short time of the ceremony, I sketch figures and take some photos to continue painting at the reception.

If I paint the reception, I arrive 2-hours before to paint the background before guests arrive. During the reception, I paint the bride and groom, and any guests you have requested.
I like to work with oil paintings because of the guaranty of quality tested for hundreds of years. I use some odorless medium at the event and professional mediums at my studio.

Every piece of art is different. The location, atmosphere, people, and love story makes each piece unique. The style of painting is very similar to Impressionism. The shortest amount of time results in a more expressive and spontaneous expression. The more time I have in the studio, prior and post-wedding event, results in a painting with more precision, realism, and detail.

For the Alla Prima Impression Package (16"x20"), I describe the service as 4-hours at the event. The 4-hours at your event is the minimum time I will be painting. Once the first layer of paint dries, I like to give the painting an extra hour to finish any last simple retouches in my studio. I want you to be happy with your personalized art hanging in your home.
Shipping: Will be sent 2-weeks after the event.

For the Retouched Quality (18"x24"), I describe the service as taking 8-hours work. 4-hours at the event, and an additional 4 hours in the studio working on your live painting for more detail. When it's possible, I will have a sketch of the empty location before I arrive at your event. After the canvas is dry from the event, I work another 4-hours at my studio to finish any last retouches.
Shipping: Will be sent 3-weeks after the event.

For the Studio Quality (24"x30") or (24"x36"), I describe the service as taking 14-hours work. 4-hours at the event, and an additional 10-hours in the studio working on your live painting for more detail. When it's possible, I will have a sketch of the empty location before I arrive at your event. After the canvas is dry from the event, I work another 10-hours in 2 or 3 different sessions at my studio. This service will result in more recognizable faces, more glassing and blending techniques, and better details.
Shipping: Will be sent 4-weeks after the event.

For the Fine Art Quality (30"x40"), I describe the service as 40-hours of work. 4-hours at the event, and an additional 36-hrs in the studio working on your live painting for more detail. As on the Studio Quality Package, I can have a sketch of the empty location before I arrive at the event. After the canvas is dry, I work another minimum of 36-hrs in 5 to 10 different sessions at my studio. This service will result in more realistic faces, more and better glassing and blending techniques, and the most exquisite details.
Shipping: Will be sent 5 to 10 weeks after the event.
