The Live Event Painting Process
Starting the live event painting process with me is easy. Simply visit my website at MauiWeddingArt.com for information about the process, pictures of past live event paintings I've completed, a list of frequently asked questions, and package options. Fill out the form on my website to request additional information and check if your desired date is available for live event painting. Keep in mind that I typically book out a year in advance.
Once I receive your form, I'll review your request and get back to you within a few days to let you know if your date is available. If it is, we can schedule a call or consultation to discuss your vision for your wedding or corporate event painting. After our conversation, I'll send you an invoice with all the details about your event. To officially book your date, I'll need a 50% installment of the package amount. The remaining 50% is due one week before your event. After I receive the signed contract and installment payment, your date is secured, and no one else can book it.
Wedding Day Painting
Before your event, I'll reach out to your wedding planner to discuss the location specifics and schedule of the event. If you're having me paint a scene from your wedding ceremony, I'll bring my materials to the ceremony location and set up discreetly behind the seating area. After the ceremony, I'll move my materials to the reception area, where guests can interact with me and check on the painting's progress throughout the night.
The Finishing Touches
After the event, I'll continue working on your painting in my studio for retouching improvements and varnishing. Once the painting is complete, I'll send you photos from different angles and close-ups of the canvas sides. I'll ship the completed painting to you at no additional cost.
Package Options
I offer four Live Wedding Painting package options:
Alla Prima Impression: 16x20-inch canvas
Retouched: 18x24-inch canvas
Studio Quality: 24x36-inch canvas
Fine Art Quality: 30x40-inch canvas
Each package comes with a different canvas size, and you can choose any canvas size you want, and I will personalize your package.
While I primarily paint live events in Maui, Oahu, Big Island, and Kauai, I can travel anywhere in the US. Choosing me as your live event painter depends on your preference for painting style, timeline, and whether you want a more detailed and realistic painting created over time or an impressionistic piece completed during the event.
