How It Works
Ready to book your live guest portrait session? It’s simple:
Inquiry: Reach out via our contact page or online form to share your wedding details.
Deposit: Secure your date with a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Confirmation: The remaining balance is due one day before your event.
On-the-Day Experience
Setup: I arrive early to set up a well-lit, accessible portrait station.
Portrait Creation: Each individual portrait takes about 6–8 minutes, while couples require 10–15 minutes.
Guest Interaction: Whether guests pose for a sit-down portrait or opt for a fun “hit and run” caricature, the process is engaging and seamless.
Portrait Completion and Delivery
During the Event: Guests can collect their completed portraits on-site.
After the Event: I finish any remaining portraits in my studio and deliver them to your guests.
Pricing and Packages
My packages are designed with flexibility in mind. Explore my pricing options to find the perfect fit for your celebration:
Base Package: Starting at $1,200 for a 3-hour minimum session.
Additional Services: Extra hours at $400 each, plus custom portraits for family members, travel fees for events outside Maui, and more. Learn about travel fees.
Managing Guest Capacity and Time
To accommodate everyone, here’s an overview of our timing:
3 Hours: Approximately 24 guests.
4 Hours: Approximately 32 guests.
5 Hours: Approximately 40 guests.
6 Hours: Approximately 48 guests.
For larger guest lists, I also offer group portraits and can complete additional portraits in my studio post-event. More details are available on my Guest Portraits Per Hour page.
Enhancements and Add-Ons
To customize and enhance your live guest portrait experience, I offer the following options:
Additional Hour: $400 per hour. The most effective way to increase the number of portraits created.
Photo Booth: $300. Helps capture quick reference pictures of guests, optimizing efficiency.
Frames: Frames for canvas paintings are $250 (or $100 if included with the Assistant Service).
Assistant Service: $500 flat rate. Includes managing distractions, facilitating smoother transitions between guests, and ensuring that the process runs efficiently. This service also enhances the guest experience by providing an optional photo booth and mat frames for drawings or watercolors. For canvas portraits, frames can be added for $100. The assistant's presence ensures consistent quality while allowing me to focus entirely on creating beautiful artwork.
