Aloha, I'm Ariel Quiroz, a live wedding artist located in Maui. I want to share my journey with you and how I started capturing the magic of the big day through my art.

I've always had a passion for art and creativity, but it wasn't until I offered a Live painting for my friend's wedding that I realized the potential for live art at these events. The energy and excitement were palpable, I knew I had to capture it and preserve it for the couple. That's when I started offering my services as a live wedding artist.

The process of creating a piece of art during a wedding starts with a consultation with the couple, where I get a sense of their style and preferences. On the day of the wedding, I set up my easel and canvas and I start painting, before, and as the event unfolds, usually, I need to move my easel to the reception area. It's important to be quick, as the energy and excitement can change rapidly, but I also want to make sure I'm capturing all the little details that make the wedding unique.

Capturing all those fleeting moments in real-time can be challenging, but it's also what makes this work so rewarding. I get to be a part of one of the most special days in someone's life, and I want to do it justice. I just stay present in the moment, take it all in, and let the art flow from there.

The reaction of the couple and their guests when they see the finished product for the first time is always incredible. There's a real sense of wonder and awe, and seeing the joy and excitement on their faces makes all the hard work worth it. They have this beautiful piece of art that not only captures the memories of their special day, but also the energy and emotions they felt. It's truly a unique and timeless keepsake.

I hope I've given you a little insight into my world as a live wedding artist and how I bring the magic of the big day to life through my art. Mahalo Nui Loa.
